Screen comes on when key is pressed due to Energy Star Monitor.
Cause:
The 'Energy Star Compliant' option has been enabled.
Solution:
Disable the 'Energy Star Compliant' option.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Change' in the 'Monitor Type' group.
7) Clear the 'Monitor is Energy Star Compliant' check box.
